Bridal Boot Camp!

I am thinking about enrolling in Boot Camp.

I would like to tone my upper arms and my stomach and drop a couple of kg, they do boot camp at Banyo for $8.50/session, which seems pretty reasonable! I might do 2 sessions a week?
Anyhow will see how I go :)

Hair and Make Up trial

Today was my hair and make up trial with Vivianne Tran.

I have decided to go with a dark eye, pink lips and a side swept down style, with lots of volume at the back. Vivianne is really good, I dont think I would have been able to do anything near as lovely as she has done for me. Its very well done.

I have found that the curls fall but do continue to look good.

I need to touch up the inner eye liner, so will need to carry a black kohl stick with me.

The fake lashes look much better with mascara, which I added myself after coming home.

Now I have to go wash it all off :(

Hair - Love Love... from Martha Stewart of course!

    1.       Using a round brush, blow-dry hair smooth and straight, focusing on the top sections.
    2.       Once dry, use a large-barrel curling iron to create waves from the ears down.
    3.       Build height and volume at the crown by teasing hair gently with a fine-tooth comb.
    4.       Gather hair into a low ponytail. Twist it along the nape of your neck, pinning as you go.
    5.       Once you reach your ear, shape the remaining hair into curls, and pin them back over the twist.
    6.       Spritz strands in place.
    7.       To add texture, gently curl and scrunch the wispy ends with your fingertips.
    8.       Marvel at how gorg you look!

    I got these Tony Biancos:

And here is the first picture:

    Anyhow, will continue to update.

I ordered some gemtac glue to use for the flexible bits because the hot glue doesnt seem to work as well on those areas.

    DIY - Swarovski Shoes

I have decided to make my own Christian Louboutin-esk Swarovski Jewelled Shoes.

    EXCITING!

Its probably going to take 30-40 hours but instores they are $3000 and I will treasure them forever.

Here is where I will get the Swarovski Crystals from (high sparkle!) I will use the hotfix ones and get a hotfix tool. I am currently deciding between the Clear or the AB. I will be getting 1440 x 20ss and 1440 x 16ss and 720x 8ss.

    Bouquet Toss

    My Brooch

    Lovely :)

    Closer

These are not actual tied bouquets, just placed together to see how they match.

They work very nicely together I do believe :)

Deposit made on Dress - My Something Old

I have put my deposit down on Vera Wang VW351011!

I am buying a gently worn one from a lovely girl in America, who has had it bustled already and who's wedding is 12th May this year.

I am buying the dress from her for 60% of the original cost.

Plus I also save on having the dress bustle put in - she is putting in a French bustle so the dress will be bustled under and inside the skirt, leaving it practically invisible :)

She is the exact same height and build as me too so its a perfect match.

She is having it dry cleaned after the wedding so will ship approx 20th May! So I should have my paws on it by mid June.

    I am so excited!

    No Cake?

We have decided not to have a cake.

Our buffet includes a bunch of desserts anyhow, so we can eat that :)

We just don't see the point of having two deserts, so the cake is out the window!

    Estimated saving: $350 :*)
