Hair - Love Love... from Martha Stewart of course!

1.       Using a round brush, blow-dry hair smooth and straight, focusing on the top sections.

2.       Once dry, use a large-barrel curling iron to create waves from the ears down.

3.       Build height and volume at the crown by teasing hair gently with a fine-tooth comb.

4.       Gather hair into a low ponytail. Twist it along the nape of your neck, pinning as you go.

5.       Once you reach your ear, shape the remaining hair into curls, and pin them back over the twist.

6.       Spritz strands in place.

7.       To add texture, gently curl and scrunch the wispy ends with your fingertips.

8.       Marvel at how gorg you look!

DIY Shoe - Progress

I ordered some gemtac glue to use for the flexible bits because the hot glue doesnt seem to work as well on those areas.

DIY - Swarovski Shoes 2

Ok so I got Arora Boreale Crystals. The Crystals cost $160.

These are the Tony Biancos I have purchased to strass (purchased from eBay BRAND NEW, not used) rrp $140, purchase price $43 = bargain!

This is a couple of pairs made with Crystal ABs - close to what my finished product should be like:

DIY - Swarovski Shoes

I have decided to make my own Christian Louboutin-esk Swarovski Jewelled Shoes.

EXCITING!

Its probably going to take 30-40 hours but instores they are $3000 and I will treasure them forever.

 

 

Here is where I will get the Swarovski Crystals from (high sparkle!) I will use the hotfix ones and get a hotfix tool. I am currently deciding between the Clear or the AB. I will be getting 1440 x 20ss and 1440 x 16ss and 720x 8ss.

Deposit made on Dress - My Something Old

I have put my deposit down on Vera Wang VW351011!

I am buying a gently worn one from a lovely girl in America, who has had it bustled already and who's wedding is 12th May this year.

I am buying the dress from her for 60% of the original cost.

Plus I also save on having the dress bustle put in - she is putting in a French bustle so the dress will be bustled under and inside the skirt, leaving it practically invisible :)

 

She is the exact same height and build as me too so its a perfect match. 

She is having it dry cleaned after the wedding so will ship approx 20th May! So I should have my paws on it by mid June. 

I am so excited!

Bouquets

I have decided to make 4 different bouquets for us girls, more than likely in Orange and White flowers with orange and green ribbon.

I am going to make one peonies and roses (white and orange), one tulips (orange), one calla lilies (either white or orange) and one orchids (either white or orange).

David has said no button holes for the boys, he doesn’t want it to detract from his suit “leave the flowers to the girls”, which is fine by me because I don’t really comprehend button holes.

So apart from the bouquets I just want to make the table centres (x7) and the Baci ceremony Pha Khuan… I don’t think I am missing anything?

Bridesmaid dresses will be 3 shades of green or 1 orange and two green or 3 orange. Or NUDE (bridesmaids undresses).

Wedding Colours

Ok, so (finally) David and I have decided on our wedding colours and theme! They are:

The theme is Early Autumn, and the colours are Ivory, Sage Green and Bright Orange *YAY*

 

I have to cancel dress day :'(

David and I have to go to The Landing for a meet and greet with our coordinator on that date!!!

I will have to reschedule but I don't know to when at this point. I kind of want to put it off until I have a better idea of what I am looking for and where I want to get it from.
